The Story.
My freelance work centers around restaurants, non-profits, and small businesses. To me, they aren't just clients—they're people putting everything on the line for a dream. Helping them see that dream come to life through branding is the most fulfilling part of what I do. That moment when someone looks at their logo and says, "That's it. That's us."
That's why I'm doing this.
Hello !
I’m Edgar. I work in the marketing department for Flow Sciences, Inc. We sell engineered containment solutions to the pharmaceutical sector — enclosures that keep operators safe while they manufacture, analyze, and develop medications. The product offering evolves quickly, so it's fast-paced: constant releases, trade shows, deadlines. The design language is visually pleasing and appealing. There is a clean, intentional white space aesthetic that is very pleasing. It's polished, but honestly? It doesn't always scratch the creative itch.
To balance that out, I take on contractor projects that let me flex that creativity. Creating brands is like working on a puzzle—finding the right fonts, colors, and illustration styles that click together to form something cohesive. It's all about finding the right pieces, and I love that process.
So far, I've worked almost exclusively with local businesses—restaurants, to be exact. Something about the relationship between food and culture draws me in. I love the community-building aspect of eateries, the way they become gathering places. Most of my work has been within the Latin community, though I'd love to explore and work with any culture. This work is vibrant, personal, and full of life. Design marries where people come from and the dreams they build.
It's rewarding to be a small part of their story.

I listen. To your goals, your motivation, and the emotions you want to evoke. I'm not here to pitch you what I think your business needs—I'm here to deliver what you're actually asking for. If you want to build something that matters, let's talk.
